This effort builds on the work of the Wapello County Trails Council, which has developed 16 miles of trails through community-driven efforts and strategic partnerships. The Riverwalk continues this progress by creating a new destination in the Ottumwa trail system along the riverfront that embodies the community’s commitment to improving accessibility, safety, and connection to nature.
